armed-robbery-graphic-small.jpg(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – A suspect perhaps trying to resemble a popular reality television show star is being sought following an armed robbery at a Lawrenceburg hair salon.

A white male carrying a firearm entered the Great Clips at 870 West Eads Parkway at approximately 8:43 p.m. Wednesday, according to a Lawrenceburg Police Department press release. He emptied the cash register and left the store on foot walking eastbound on the sidewalk outside the business.

Nobody was injured during the course of the robbery.

The suspect was dressed in a long sleeve, plain black shirt or sweatshirt, jeans, dark shoes, a black stocking hat, and wore a dark, long, fake beard. The robbery suspect’s appearance could be likened to a member of the A&E television series “Duck Dynasty”, but police said they have no direct information relating that such an appearance is what the robber was aiming for.

Lawrenceburg Police are reviewing multiple sources of surveillance in the area. Anybody with information that can help the investigation or identify a suspect is asked to call the police department at (812) 537-2284.

Assisting Lawrenceburg Police at the scene were Indiana State Police, the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Department, and the Aurora Police Department.

Let's see, well It isn't Christmas or Halloween or Easter. Oh it's Heroin Holiday. He needed money for that event! Dressed in black 87 degrees looking like a nomad......no one with a cell phone put that together?

Thank GOD that in the description they stated the robber wore a fake beard because I'm often ask if I', on the show because I have several Duck Dynasty Tshirts, have long brown and gray hair and my long beard is mostly gray now. Also I'm disabled and reside in Georgia.By the way the last time I was in Dearborn county was in early April so please rest assured that it wasn't me.I'm also a CHRISTIAN man and live well within the laws put down before me.I sure hope this man is caught very soon.No county or state needs people going around waving guns in the face of others.
