Ear Biting Case Dismissed
(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Charges have been dismissed against a Cincinnati man accused of biting off another man’s ear during a fight at a local hotel.
Donald Talbott was arrested at the Quality Inn on U.S. 50/Eads Parkway in Greendale last February. Police said he bit off part of a man’s ear during a physical altercation which had escalated from an argument over who was a better gambler.
The Dearborn Superior Court I judge ordered the case to be dismissed on May 17. Prosecutors had motioned for the dismissal because of the victim’s lack of cooperation.
Talbott, 23, had been charged with Battery Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury (Class C felony) and Disorderly Conduct (Class B misdemeanor).
