Early Voting In Indiana Approaches 2012 Number
By Mike Perleberg
(Indianapolis, Ind.) – Early voting in Indiana is off to a strong start.
Indiana county clerks have received nearly 473,000 early voting ballots with a week to go before the election, according to the Indiana Secretary of State’s Office.
By the final day of early voting on November 7, that figure should reach close to the 590,445 early ballots cast in the last presidential election in 2012. However, it probably won’t meet the record of 662,443 early ballots in the 2008 general election.
