East Central V. L’burg Will Kick-Off Skyline Chili Crosstown Showdown

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Some local high school football teams will be part of the 20th anniversary Skyline Chili Crosstown Showdown.
The nation’s largest high school football showcase includes 21 games across the tri-state. The schedule and teams were revealed Thursday.
East Central and Lawrenceburg will play in the showcase’s opening game on Friday, August 18 at 7:00 p.m. It is the first time the two Dearborn County programs will meet in a regular season game since 2012. Lawrenceburg was the IHSAA Class 3A runner-up in 2016, while East Central made it to the state semi-finals in the 4A tournament.

Cooper High School will play at Highlands that same opening night at 7:30 p.m.
Harrison will host Anderson in one of the Crosstown Showdown’s final games on Friday, September 8.
Tickets to all Showdown games can be purchased in advance of game day at the participating schools. Fans should contact their favorite school for summer office ticket hours.
