(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – A Dearborn County Law Enforcement Center inmate who was involved in a fight with other inmates is now being charged for his role in the jailhouse scuffle.

Dwion Hicks, 36, of Aurora, allegedly exchanged punches with another inmate, Louis Magallon, on July 21. Three others have already been charged for accusations that they attacked Hicks in a jail cell just moments earlier.

According to a court affidavit, the friction between Hicks and Magallon may have stemmed from a disagreement over which channel the dayroom television was turned to about a month earlier.

Hicks was formally charged August 8 with Battery Resulting In Bodily Injury (Level 6 felony).

Jail officials say Hicks has posted bond to be released.
