Flags Lowered To Half-Staff On Pearl Harbor Day
(Indianapolis, Ind.) – In recognition of Pearl Harbor Day, Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb has directed flags across Indiana be flown at half-staff.
The governor’s office says flags should be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset Thursday.
Businesses and residents are also asked to lower their flags Thursday.
Seventy-six years ago today, Japanese forces launched a surprise attack on Pearl Harbor killing more than 2,400 and damaging several key Navy assets.
