Jeff-Craig Fire Department in Switzerland County warned Thursday that State Road 56 between Vevay and Madison was covered by water in some parts due to nearly clogged culverts.
“With increased traffic from closure of Madison-Milton Bridge and the rain/fog combination, this is going to make for hazardous road conditions for awhile,” the department said.
Motorists also reported debris and water covering Cole Lane near Laughery Creek in southern Dearborn County.
