(Florence, Ky.) – Former big leaguers will soon descend upon Florence for the first ever Legends Game in the Greater Cincinnati area.

The Florence Freedom will host the Chicago vs. Cincinnati Legends Game on Saturday, August 19 at UC Health Stadium. First-pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.

The 7-innning game will feature former Cincinnati Reds Bret Boone, Hal Morris, Lenny Harris, Tom Browning and Danny Jackson.

The Chicago roster will include Bobby Dernier, Bill Madlock, Kyle Farnsworth, Willie Willson and former Cubs and Reds outfielder Corey Patterson.

“This game will feature the guys you either grew up cheering for and rooting against,” Freedom VP/General Manager Josh Anderson said. “It’s going to be a lot of fun seeing who still has it while you chase down autographs from the players of yesteryear.”

A number of former Freedom players, sports figures and local celebrities will fill out the two rosters, including Eagle Country 99.3’s own, Mike Perleberg.

Tickets can be purchased now for $20. Prices increase to $25 on gameday.

VIP Legends tickets are $150 per person and include a hospitality ticket, VIP BBQ Buffet, soft drinks, two drink tickets and a limited/private post-game autograph session with Cincinnati and Chicago players. Ticket packages are limited to the first 100 fans only.
