(Highland Heights, Ky.) – A 10 year prison sentence has been ordered for the former athletic director at Northern Kentucky University.

Scott Eaton had pleaded guilty last month to theft charges. Eaton admitted to stealing more than $300,000 from NKU between 2007 and 2013.

The revelation came after an audit of the NKU athletic department after Eaton was fired for having relationships with multiple NKU staffers and a student.

In addition to his prison time, Eaton must repay $311,000 in restitution at a minimum of $500 per month.
