(Greensburg, Ind.) – State Representative Randy Frye (R-Greensburg) says he’s running for re-election this year.

Frye, who is currently in his second term, said he has filed for re-election in Indiana House District 67. The district includes all or parts of Decatur, Ohio, Ripley, Jefferson, Switzerland, Jennings, and Dearborn counties.

The retired firefighter was named Legislator of the Year by the Indiana Fire Chief’s Association last year.

Frye said he envisions government as a tool to help the citizens of Indiana. His vision is to see that government provides the leadership to help citizens be successful while keeping government small and taxes to a minimum.

Frye is the first candidate – either Republican or Democrat – to file for election in House District 67, as of Friday, January 10, according to the Indiana Secretary of State’s office.
