(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Injured Army veteran Brett Bondurant and his family have a new home. Now they need to furnish it.

Luckily, Morris Home Furnishings has partnered with PNC Bank to help provide new furniture to Bondurant and his family.

Bondurant, 23, lost portions of his legs in an IED explosion in the Southwest Kandahar Provence, Afghanistan on September 28, 2011.

SPC Bondurant married his high school sweetheart, London, and returned home to Lawrenceburg last year. Brett, London, and their five-month-old daughter, Jaycee, received a newly constructed, handicapped-accessible home through Homes for Our Troops on February 8.

The furniture company is asking the community to help furnish the family’s new home by making a donation. Morris Furniture Company, Inc. will match every donation made, dollar-for-dollar, until they’ve contributed $12,500.

Donations can be made at any PNC Bank branch, or by mail to PNC Bank, 201 E Fifth Street, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45202. Checks should be payable to American Legion Post #239/Bondurant Fund.
