(Dearborn County, Ind.) – Local state lawmakers will give their constituents a preview of the 2018 Indiana Legislative session.

The Dearborn County Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Pre-Legislative Luncheon presented by CalComm Indiana at Ivy Tech Community College’s Riverfront campus in Lawrenceburg on Wednesday, November 15 at 11:30 a.m.

State representatives Randy Frye (R-Greensburg) and Randy Lyness (R-West Harrison) are expected to appear, along with state senators Chip Perfect (R-Lawrenceburg) and Jeff Raatz (R-Centerville). Lobbyists for the county and the City of Lawrenceburg will also give attendees their views on the upcoming session.

Topics expected to dominate at the Indiana Statehouse when the session begins in January include meeting the state’s workforce needs, improving infrastructure, strengthening laws against drug dealers, and the legalization of Sunday alcohol sales.
