UPDATE: Missing Boone County Man Found In Cincinnati

The critical missing alert for Sedric Scott has been cancelled. He was found safe in Cincinnati at around 8:00 a.m.

(Verona, Ky.) – A critical missing alert has been issued concerning a Boone County resident who disappeared overnight.

The Golden Alert relates to Sedric Scott, 84, of Verona. He went missing from his daughter’s home in Verona sometime between 11:00 p.m. Tuesday and 2:15 a.m. Wednesday.

Scott is described as a white male, 5’11”, 160 pounds. He was believed to be wearing green pajama pants, a green shirt  with “Web Contracting” on the back of the shirt, and slide on shoes.

Authorities believe Scott may be driving a beige 2003 Jeep Liberty with Kentucky license plate 862CJY.

The alert indicates Scott suffers from dementia. He has a farm on Moon Road in Williamstown, Kentucky, and used to live on Dublin in Union, but both locations were checked to no avail.

Anybody who sees or known of Sedric Scott’s whereabouts is asked to contact 911 immediately.
