(West Harrison, Ind.) – A brand new business in Dearborn County is preparing to break ground.

Whitewater Mill LLC announced in October that it will invest $37 million to build a five-floor flour mill on Harrison-Brookville Road in West Harrison. When the facility opens in 2015 it will be capable of producing up to 700 tons of wheat-based products each day.

A ceremonial groundbreaking will take place Friday, January 31 at 3:00 p.m. at Higher Ground Conference & Retreat Center, 3820 Logan Creek Lane, in West Harrison.

The public is invited to hear more about the project and its impact on the local economy. Dearborn County Commissioners and the Redevelopment Commission will be there.
