(Hamilton County, Oh.) – A Hamilton County Sheriff’s deputy has pleaded guilty to charges stemming from sexual messages he sent to a woman he met during a traffic stop.

Josh Noel, 25, was in court Wednesday to plead guilty to one count of telecommunications harassment. The judge sentenced him to one year on probation, 40 hours of community service, and must take a corrective thinking class.

Noel has resigned from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office after being placed on leave pending the outcome of the court case. He had served with the agency for four years.

The 18-year-old victim who received Noel’s explicit photos and videos over social media reported the incident on August 11, about a week after she had been pulled over by the deputy. Two other women later came forward to report similar dealings with Noel.
