Heat Advisory and Storms Thursday
(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – With highs into the upper 90s, a Heat Advisory will be in effect for the tri-state again Thursday.
The advisory will run from noon until 8:00 p.m. as heat index values reach near 104.
The heat comes with an 80 percent chance of rain and a moderate risk of severe storms, forecasters said. Strong storms are expected push through the area this afternoon and evening bringing with them high winds, hail, and the threat of tornadoes and flooding.

Forecasters say residents may want to be prepared for possible power outages.
The chance of rain will increase to 90 percent overnight. Lows will dip to the lower 70s. Friday’s forecast is partly sunny with a high of 92 and 40 percent chance of rain.
