Heat Closes Dearborn Administration Building

hot(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – The weather remains hot to start this week.


The National Weather Service predicts a high in the mid-90s Monday afternoon. Heat index values will be near 100.


A Heat Advisory is in effect through 8:00 this evening for the entire tri-state.


There is at least one operation to have fallen victim to the heat. The Dearborn County Administration Building closed at 11:45 Monday morning because the air conditioning was not working.

The administration building plans to reopen for normal hours Tuesday.


High temperatures are expected to remain in the mid-90’s through the rest of the week. A slight chance of pop-up showers and storms lingers Monday through Thursday.
