(Hebron, Ky.) – Boone County police say a Hebron man sent sexual images to a 14-year-old boy via Facebook.

Matthew Freudenberg, 36, was arrested Wednesday on charges of  Unlawful use of electronic means originating or received within the Commonwealth to induce a minor to engage in sexual or other prohibited activities – otherwise known as importuning – and Tampering with physical evidence.

According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, the parents of the minor became aware of the messages and reported it to police. A detective then assumed the boy’s Facebook identity.

Freudenberg allegedly continued with his sexually explicit conversation. The detective said he even asked for a nude photo of the child.

Freudenberg is held in the Boone County Detention Center on a $50,000 bond.
