Hill-Rom Awarded $45M Defense Dept. Contract

(Batesville, Ind.) – Hill-Rom in Batesville has landed a major government contract.

The U.S. Department of Defense has awarded a $45 million contract to the company to provide hospital equipment and accessories to the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support based in Philadelphia, according to a defense department news release.

The five-year, fixed-price contract states that the location of performance is Indiana, with a September 13, 2022 performance completion date. It is for an indefinite-delivery and indefinite-quantity of equipment.

A total of 27 companies submitted bids for the standing solicitation. Six contracts have been awarded as of September 18.
