(Ripley County, Ind.) – A tornado warning was signaled in Ripley, Franklin, and Dearborn counties as storms rolled through late Thursday night.

Ripley County’s emergency manager reported to the National Weather Service that a home had been moved off its foundation and a barn was damaged on North Finks Road in the Osgood area. There were also a few power lines brought down by broken tree branches throughout Ripley County, causing some sporadic power outages, dispatchers told Eagle 99.3.

There have been no significant damage reports in Dearborn County.

Duke Energy is not reporting any widespread outages this morning. Southeast Indiana REMC’s status was not immediately available.

A Flash Flood Watch expired early Friday morning. Meanwhile, a Wind Advisory for the tri-state remains in effect until 6:00 p.m. Meteorologists say some gusts will reach up to 50 MPH.
