Indiana Outlaws 8U Happy With 2nd At Mother’s Day Tournament

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – A local youth softball team played their hearts out at a recent Mother’s Day Tournament in Shelbyville.

The Indiana Outlaws 8U took second place out of 11 teams at the holiday tournament on May 13-14.

In the championship game, the Outlaws had the final at-bat with the tying run on base when Carli Walter was robbed of a base hit on a tremendous sliding play.

The Outlaws would fall to a talented, select team from Terre Haute by a score of 13-11.

Team members include: Taylan Brewer, Maddie Messmore, Mo Miller, Maddie Noel, Carli Walter, Ava Cutter, Jill Cavanaugh, Emma Voss, CharLeigh Combs, Claire Elliott and Kyanna Gardner.

They are coached by Mike and Jennifer Cutter, Kelli Gentrup-Pettit and Neil Miller
