Indiana Voter Registration Deadline Is April 4
(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Less than a week remains for Indiana residents to register to vote in the May 3 primary election.
The last day to register to vote is approaching on Monday, April 4, according to the Indiana Secretary of State’s Election Division. You can register at your county clerk’s office, any Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles branch, or online at www.IndianaVoters.com.

Early absentee voting in Indiana will begin April 5.
To be eligible to vote, a person must be a U.S. citizen, a resident of the state, must have resided in their precinct at least 30 days prior to the election, must not be imprisoned for a criminal conviction, and be at least 18 years of age before the date of the November general election. Seventeen-year-olds may vote in the May primary eleciton if they turn 18 before November 8.
