INDOT Hiring Plow Drivers At Job Fair Friday

(Aurora, Ind.) – The Indiana Department of Transportation will host a job fair this Friday, November 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its Aurora Subdistrict facility located at 10995 Marsh Road. Several seasonal openings remain for CDL-licensed operators to drive plow trucks this winter.

INDOT requests applicants to bring their current CDL license, a resume and high school diploma (or equivalent).  Candidates will be interviewed and asked to create a state employment profile at Friday’s job fair.  Or they can create the state employment profile in advance at:  www.in.gov/spd.

A drug test will be administered.

Successful applicants will be dispatched from an INDOT unit location at Aurora, Brookville, Penntown, Versailles or Aberdeen.  They can choose full-time work—37½ hours per week—November through March, on on-call status during winter weather months.
