Ivy Tech L’burg Plans 3rd Annual Day of Service April 22

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Ivy Tech Community College will celebrate its 3rd annual Ivy Tech Days of Service April 17-26 at all campuses statewide.

More than 1,000 Ivy Tech students, faculty and staff from every Ivy Tech region will be completing service projects in their local communities.

In Lawrenceburg, the Dearborn County Solid Waste and Recycling Center has partnered with Ivy Tech. Volunteers will complete a clean-up project, promote recycling and environmental awareness, as well as the celebration of Earth Day.

At the Madison campus, the community college has partnered with Jefferson County United Way for the service day on Saturday, April 26. Volunteers will be participating in the Jefferson County United Way Bowl for Kids’ Sake event.  Students have formed their own team to raise funds and awareness.  Students will also be on hand to assist as event volunteers.
