Jac-Cen-Del Grad Wins 2nd MMA Championship

(Osgood, Ind.) – At just 19-years-old, Tyler Shipp is already a two-time amateur MMA champion.
The recent Jac-Cen-Del High School graduate fought for the Bluegrass MMA Light Heavyweight Title at Hardrock MMA 91 in Covington on July 29.
Shipp (4-0) wasted no time defeating his opponent Nick Jewell (4-5) by TKO in just two minutes and 46 seconds.
Since making his MMA debut in November of 2015, all four of Shipp’s wins have come via knockout or TKO. All of those fights have ended in the first round including one this past February, when Shipp won the Bluegrass MMA Heavyweight Championship at Hardrock MMA 86 in Shepardsville, Kentucky.
Shipp is currently ranked as the #1 fighter in Hardrock MMA’s Light Heavyweight division.
