Johnson Fork Road In W. Harrison Closed For Two Months

road-closed-sign.jpg(West Harrison, Ind.) – For the next couple months, motorists used to traveling Johnson Fork Road in West Harrison will have to find another way.

County Bridge 88 on Johnson Fork Road near Thomas Road is being rehabilitated by Paul H. Rohe Company of Aurora, says Dearborn County Engineer Todd Listerman.

A closure expected to last about 60 days began on Tuesday.Until the bridge reopens, motorists will have to use a detour.

The Johnson Fork Road bridge closure is expected to be the longest closure in a series of bridge rehabilitation projects that have been taking place across Dearborn County this summer.

Gary Davidson with Paul H. Rohe Company said County Bridge 213 on Bischoff Hill Road reopened on Friday, August 29. County Bridge 74 on Blue Creek Road also reopened last week.
