(Batesville, Ind.) – He’s only three-years-old, but little Jaxon Brittle has probably entertained more people than Jason Aldean did when he was the same age.

Of course, the Batesville toddler has to give some credit to the country music star. He did borrow his hit song.

A video showing Brittle doing a pretty swell job of singing along with Aldean’s former number one single “Dirt Road Anthem” has garnered over 475,000 views on YouTube and a part in a promotional video by Aldean.

“He thinks it’s very cool,” said Jaxon’s mother, Erin Brittle, who has on country radio each time she and her son make the half-hour commute to and from Aurora where she is a day care worker.

“He just really liked the song and began learning it. It was cute so we decided to record it,” she said.

In May 2011, Erin took video of her son in their living room for three-and-a-half minutes as the tike, donning a Spongebob Squarepants t-shirt, swayed back and forth while doing his best to perform the song. The video was posted to YouTube immediately and has received a steady amount of new views each day since.

One of those views was by Aldean’s management, who contacted the Brittle’s earlier this month to ask if they could use it in a video to get fans to vote for Aldean as “Entertainer of the Year” in the Academy of Country Music Awards.

Jaxon took the news well.

“He was jumping up and down and said ‘thank you Mommy,’” Erin said.

In addition to the newfound video stardom, Jaxon and his family have been invited to meet Jason Aldean when he performs in Cincinnati on August 16.
