Lane Shifts On I-275 Ramp At US 50 Begin This Week

i-275-ramp-08042014(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Phase II of Indiana Department of Transportation’s project to repair and resurface the on/off ramps connecting U.S. Highway 50 with Interstate 275 east of Lawrenceburg will get underway early next week.  Traffic will be shifted from one side of the ramps to the other on Monday or Tuesday—weather permitting.   Eleven foot width restrictions will continue to be enforced.

Duncan Robertson Inc., the state’s contractor, is making needed concrete repairs to the U.S. 50 Connector ramps located 1.27 miles north of the Indiana-Kentucky state line.  Once repaired, a 2¼-inch overlay is being put in place.  Approach slabs and pavement transitions are also being reworked.
