Lawrenceburg Resident Dies In I-74 Crash

(Cincinnati, Oh.) – A Lawrenceburg woman died in a crash on Interstate 74 in Cincinnati on Saturday.

Cincinnati Police said Ashley Riley, 25, was driving a 2002 Dodge Durango eastbound on the interstate at about 12:30 p.m. when her vehicle collided with a 2010 Toyota Matrix. Riley’s SUV then struck a barrier wall and flipped onto its side.

Riley, who was not wearing a seatbelt, died at the scene, according to police.

Two passengers in Riley’s vehicle were 27-year-old Adam Smith and a child in a car seat. Smith was treated and released from a hospital. The child was being held for observation at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Saturday.

Two people in the Toyota Matrix were not hurt. They were identified as Stephen Minges, 24, and George Minges, 63. Police said they were wearing seatbelts.
