L’burg Speedway’s Rudisells Are USAC’s National Race Organizer Of The Year

(Indianapolis, Ind.) – The couple who runs Lawrenceburg Speedway have won an award from the top dirt track racing organization in the country.
The folks who run Lawrenceburg Speedway have won a prestigious award.
Dave and Kim Rudisell were given USAC’s 2017 National Race Organizer of the Year award Friday. They received the hardware at USAC’s Night of Champions celebration in Indianapolis.
“I’ll accept this award, on behalf of our entire staff. Everyone involved in all departments plays a huge role in what we do and we couldn’t do it without them. They aren’t just our staff, they are our family,” Dave Rudisell said in accepting the award. “It’s truly an honor to be recognized from the nation’s top racing series… who year after year travel all over the country to other events, and they chose us as the best.”
The Rudisells began managing The ‘Burg in 2007. They have turned the 3/8-mile speedway into one of the premiere dirt track racing facilities in the U.S.
Kim Rudisell said the entire team works very hard before, during, and after every single event.
“At the end of the day, our ultimate goal is to provide an amazing race, and, a fun, family-friendly event on a consistent basis,” she said.
Lawrenceburg Speedway will hold its own Banquet of Champions on Saturday, January 20 at the Sunman American Legion Post 337. Top drivers and employees will receive their track awards.
The track’s first race of 2018 will be on Saturday, March 31 when the USAC Sprint Cars come to town.
