Lengthy Road Closure Announced For City Of Harrison
By Travis Thayer
(Harrison, Oh.) – A lengthy project will shut down one Harrison road for several weeks.
The City of Harrison has announced that Campbell Road will close for up to 10 weeks beginning Tuesday, September 5.
Streets Department Director Jim Leslie tells Eagle Country 99.3 that crews will be working to elevate Campbell Road by approximately 39 inches. Leslie says the elevated road will help prevent flooding, which occurs frequently on Campbell Road following heavy rain.
Campbell Road will be closed to through traffic daily between Featherwood Drive and Production Drive.
Detour signs have been set up to route motorists around the closure.
It should be noted that the ATV track and river walk on the Whitewater River will be closed during the project.
