(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Kyle Sharpshair said “no” to a lot of potential goal scorers this past season, but he’s saying “yes” to playing soccer at the collegiate level.

The Lawrenceburg High School senior recently committed to continuing his academic and athletic career at the University of Indianapolis.

Sharpshair was joined at a special signing day ceremony by his parents, David and Diana Sharpshair. Tigers head coach DeWayne Uhlman, athletic secretary Judy Reese, and a host of his Tiger teammates.

As a senior, Sharpshair was the top goaltender in the Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference, earning Defensive Co-MVP honors. The Tigers star allowed less than a dozen goals in 19 games.

Sharpshair will join a Greyhounds team that went 13-6-1 last season with a 9-4-1 record in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
