(Vevay, Ind.) – With parts of Florida and Texas still reeling from devastating hurricanes, a local Girl Scout Troop is stepping up to help.

Girls Scout Troop 3176 will host a Disaster Relief Drive from noon-4:00 p.m. at the Vevay IGA on Saturday, September 23. The girls scouts may stay on location longer if donations continue to come in.

Requested items include personal care products, cleaning supplies, paper products, baby and infant supplies, and first-aid items.

If you can’t make it to the donation drive, donation boxes have been placed throughout the Town of Vevay.
