Local Officials Take In AIM Ideas Summit In Evansville

(Aurora, Ind.) – Two local officials recently traveled to Evansville to learn more about making their communities better places to live.
Aurora City Manager Guinevere Emery and Dillsboro Town Manager Doug Rump attended the Accelerate Indiana Municipalities (AIM) Ideas Summit in Evansville on October 11.
Both are members of Indiana Municipal Management Association (IMMA) Board of Directors. Emery will soon take over as president of the board after her recent election.
IMMA is a non-profit, non-partisan organization composed of professional local government managers, such as city and town managers, who share a passion for providing excellent public service and implementing policies that make communities better places to live.
The annual AIM Ideas Summit included 150 exhibitors, organizations and state agencies specializing in municipal government solutions. Attendees had the opportunity to hear a mix of speakers, participate in workshops, and network.
