New Washington 51, Rising Sun 40 – Nick Koons poured in 13 points and had 7 rebounds for Rising Sun.

Switzerland County 69, Trinity Lutheran 60 – The two teams combined for 21 three-pointers (11 by Trinity; 10 by Switzerland). Kollin Hayes had 23 points for the Pacers.

Greensburg 57, Batesville 49 – Baylee Rohlfing went for a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds. Hattie Westerfeld had 14 points while Gabi Garcia totaled 12.
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 17
East Central 52, Batesville 32 – Eagle Country 99.3 Feature Game
Greensburg 67, Franklin County 55 – Andrew Welage scored 24 for Greensburg. Dylan Little led Franklin County with 18 points while Ben Krider scored 14 and Johnathan Hagerty had 12.
Oldenburg Academy 41, Rising Sun 30 – Oldenburg improves to 5-0. Noah Pflum and Brent Turner each led Rising Sun with 9 points.
South Ripley 73, South Decatur 59
East Central 43, Batesville 35 – Eagle Country 99.3 Feature Game – Courtney Robbins scored 14 points for EC. Logan Cox snagged 13 rebounds to go with 6 points. Batesville’s Hattie Westerfeld put in 13 points while Baylee Rohlfing had 6 points and 10 rebounds.

East Central Sweeps At Connersville
The East Central boys and girls swim teams each claimed victories a the Connersville Invitational on Saturday. Some of the participating teams did not make it to the meet due to the weather conditions, but three did: EC, Lawrenceburg, and the host school. EC won 5 of the 6 relays to bring home the championship.
EC girls won with 137 points. Connersville was second with 107 while Lawrenceburg had 50 points. Lady AquaTrojans event winners were Mackenzie Schantz (200 freestyle), Cai Fox (200 freestyle, 500 freestyle), Alexis deLong (200 IM, 100 butterfly), Olivia Nixon (50 freestyle, 100 freestyle), Lydia Weber (500 freestyle), and Hannah Weber (100 backstroke).
The Trojan boys won with 149 points while Connersville had 103 and Lawrenceburg 34. Event winners for EC included Jackson Ketcham (200 IM, 100 butterfly), Ethan Ayers-Edds (1 meter dive), Jacob Weber (100 freestyle, 100 backstroke), and Alex Ketcham (100 breaststroke).
South Dearborn Fourth At Jeff Classic
South Dearborn’s wrestling squad made a solid showing at the 16-team Jeffersonville Classic on Saturday. The team finished fourth in the standings, thanks in large part to Austin Boggs (120 lbs.) and Cainan Schaefer (132 lbs.) each winning their weight class to go to 16-0 on the season. SD also had two wrestlers – Zach Otto and Brandon Byrd – place second in their weight class and two others placed third.

East Central Hosts, Wins 6-Way
The East Central Trojans went 5-0 in winning the EC 6-Way Wrestling Invitational in St. Leon on Saturday. Lawrenceburg came in second, going 4-1 with champions Jake Ruberg (170 lbs.), James Wesley (220 lbs.), and Mason Parris (285 lbs.).
