East Central 50, South Dearborn 30 – East Central head coach David Disbro – already the program’s all-time winningest coach – earned his 200th career win. Disbro’s career record after this win was 200-101, all at EC.

 

Batesville 62, Lawrenceburg 52

 

Switzerland County 70, Rising Sun 62 – Switzerland County capped the homecoming game with a win to claim the Ruler of the River Trophy. The Pacers were led by junior Austin Clark’s 31 points. Ryan Dugan’s 21 points highlighted Rising Sun’s night.

 

Shawe Memorial 56, Jac-Cen-Del 40 – Jac-Cen-Del’s Adam Seibert led his team in scoring and rebounding with 12 points and 5 boards.

BOYS BASKETBALL

 

East Central 64, Harrison 45 – Harrison’s Shane Page scored 24 but it wasn’t enough for the Wildcats to overcome a complete game by East Central. Matt Schuman paced the Trojans with 16 points.

 

Batesville 66, Franklin County 64 – Batesville survived a half-court buzzer-beating heave by Franklin County’s Zach Sizemore that missed.

 

Greensburg 66, South Decatur 35

 

Indianapolis Tindley 60, Oldenburg Academy 37

 

 

GIRLS BASKETBALL

 

Jac-Cen-Del 44, Rising Sun 43 – Jac-Cen-Del’s win was highlighted by Brianna Volz’s 15 points and 9 rebounds, seconded by teammate Sydnee Keene’s 11 points. Rising Sun was led by Brittany Camden with 13 points and 7 rebounds, plus Sydney Willhite’s 10 and 6.
