Switzerland County 13, Southwestern 0 – Nate Hunter tossed a one-hit shutout and had 2 hits and 2 RBIs for the Pacers.

Greensburg 13, Batesville 3



South Dearborn 3, Milan 2 – The Lady Knights travel to Milan and picked up a hard fought victory, winning 3-2. #1 singles player Shelbi Yoe played well winning 6-2 in both sets. Brianna Johnson won at #3 singles, 6-4, 6-2. #2 singles player Carley Ochs dropped her match in straight sets and #2 doubles team of Kayla Barrett and Cheyenne Burress dropped their match in a tough 3 sets. The match came down to the #1 doubles team of Molly Schmahl and Breanna Upton. After dropping the 1st set 4-6, the duo came back in the second with a 6-1 victory. In the seven-team meet held in St. Leon Thursday, the boys team title was take by the host Trojans while Batesville’s girls team just beat out EC for first place. In boys competition, Batesville was second followed by Centerville and Franklin County. For the girls, East Central was second, Oldenburg Academy third, and Greensburg fourth. Switzerland County Invitational

Switzerland County girls were first, Southwestern second, Jac-Cen-Del third, Rising Sun fourth, South Ripley fifth, Lawrenceburg sixth and Shawe was seventh in the Switzerland County Invitational. Jac-Cen-Del’s Kayla Bowling finished first in four events.

In the boys meet, Rising Sun won the event with South Ripley second, Switzerland Co. third, Lawrenceburg fourth, Jac-Cen-Del fifth, Southwestern sixth and Shawe seventh.
