Scott B. Bowcock, 45, was arrested January 31 and remains in jail in Dearborn County as of Friday. A judge has ordered him held on a bond of $15,000 cash and $250,000 surety.

Last month, allegations surfaced that Bowcock had molested an eight-year-old girl. Indiana State Police began to investigate. They observed an interview with the alleged victim at the Child Advocacy Center of Southeast Indiana in which she told of the incidents that occurred between May and September last year.

Investigators then went to speak with Bowcock. He allegedly admitted to investigators that there had been inappropriate touching with the victim, according to a court affidavit.

One of the molesting charges Bowcock faces is a Class A felony punishable by up to 50 years in prison, if convicted.
