Man Dies In Greendale Chain Reaction Crash
(Greendale, Ind.) – The Fourth of July turned deadly on U.S. 50 in Greendale.
A Butler County, Ohio man died Wednesday evening in a chain reaction crash on U.S. 50 near the ramp to Interstate 275 at about 6:28 p.m.
William M. Ensor, 55, was driving a 1991 Toyota two-door passenger car when it rear-ended a 2010 Ford Focus driven by Juanita Haas, 41, of Aurora.
The impact sent Haas’ vehicle into a 2011 Chevy pickup driven by Eddie Wright, of Wakefield, Wisconsin, then propelled Wright’s truck into a 2007 Mini Cooper driven by JoAnna F. Kelly, 59, of Trenton, Ohio.
Ensor was rushed to Dearborn County Hospital where he died of his injuries. Nobody else was hurt.
Greendale Police are still investigating the accident. Officers were assisted at the scene by Greendale Fire Department, Greendale EMS, Lawrenceburg Fire Department and EMS, Whitewater Township Fire Department, and the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Department.
