UPDATE: Police Identify Man Found Dead In Ohio Co. Home

Indiana State Police investigators have identified the man found dead at a home just off Hartford Pike Road in Ohio County.

Raymond Green, 62, of Ohio County, was found dead by officers asked to perform a welfare check at the home Wednesday afternoon.

How Green may have died has not been disclosed by investigators.

“The investigation remains active, however, no more information will be released this weekend. It is expected investigators will release more information early next week,” said Indiana State Police Sgt. Noel Houze, the ISP Versailles Post’s public information officer.

(Ohio County, Ind.) – A death investigation is underway in Ohio County.

Wednesday afternoon around 3:00, police were called to perform a welfare check on an individual residing off Hartford Pike Road. Once at the residence, officers found a deceased male.

Investigators spent all day Wednesday processing the scene, said Indiana State Police Sgt. Noel Houze.

An autopsy is being performed Thursday at the Hamilton County, Ohio morgue to positively identify the victim and determine how they died.

“This is an ongoing investigation and this is the only information being released at this time. As more information is made available by investigators, an update will be released,” Houze said.
