Man Found Shot In Vevay July 27

police-line-do-not-cross-investigation-graphic.jpg(Vevay, Ind.) – A man died after shooting himself in the head on Sunday, July 27 in Vevay.

According to a news release from the Vevay Police Department, a man called 911 and stated “Don’t let my wife find me.”

Officers responded to a home on the 600 block of W. Seminary Street and found the man lying in an alley next to his residence with a self-inflicted gunshot.

The victim was taken to Carroll County Hospital by Switzerland County EMS and members of the Jeff-Craig Fire Department. He was later transferred to University of Louisville Hospital and died on Monday, July 28 around noon.
