(Milan, Ind.) – A southeast Indiana school dance team can claim that they are national champions three times over.

The Milan Indianettes Competition Dance Team won the Junior A championships at the Showcase America Unlimited Nationals Competition at the Bank of Kentucky Center at Northern Kentucky University held April 11-13.

The Indianettes won the junior A national titles in three routines: jazz, pom, and hip hop. They received a gold medal for their hip hop routine, a special award for their pom costumes, and a high superior rating for all three dances.

“These young ladies worked very hard since last June on these routines and I’m very proud of them,” said coach Tracey Gobel.
