(Milan, Ind.) – The legendary 1954 state champion Milan High School boys basketball team will be honored on the baseball diamond Wednesday in Indianapolis.

It’s being called “Milan Night” at Victory Field, home of the Indianapolis Indians, the AAA affiliate of the Pittsburg Pirates.

Milan ’54 players including Bobby Plump, Ray Craft, Rollin Cutter, Gene White, Roger Schroder, and Glen Butte will be recognized, throw out the first pitch, and sign autographs.

The first pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at www.IndyIndians.com.
