(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – A Lawrenceburg man remains in the hospital following a motorcycle crash last week.

Lawrenceburg Police say Robert S. Kumli was injured when he was involved in a collision with a minivan driven by Tressie Denning, also of Lawrenceburg, at the intersection of Arch and Margaret streets the evening of Thursday, May 9.

Kumli remains at University Hospital in Cincinnati as of Wednesday.

Denning and two children riding in her vehicle refused medical treatment at the scene.

Witnesses to the crash say Denning ran a stop sign at the four-way stop intersection when Kumli’s motorcycle was struck. A Lawrenceburg Police press release stated that the accident investigation has been completed but did not indicate which driver may have been responsible.

Lawrenceburg Police have handed their findings to the Dearborn County Prosecutor’s Office for review. No charges have been filed.
