Name Calling Leads To Fight; Three Taken Into Custody
By Mike Perleberg
(Moores Hill, Ind.) – Three women are arrested after a fight at a Moores Hill trailer park.
Deputies were called to the community on the 14600 block of State Road 350 for a report of a battery at around midnight on May 6. They arrived to find three women and a juvenile girl bruised and bloody.
The fight was reportedly started by name-calling between the women involved.
Due to conflicting statements from several witnesses to the fight – most of which were juveniles, deputies noted – all three women were arrested. They are Stephanie Sigmon, 29; Sharon Stanley, 58; and Lisa Wallace, 44.
All three are charged with Battery (Class A misdemeanor), but Wallace faces an additional charge of Battery on a Person Less Than 14-years-old (Class D felony). Wallace is the only individual remaining in the Dearborn County jail as of Friday morning.
Moores Hill is the state code for food stamps, welfare, and drugs. I would also like to know the collective number of teeth in this fight.
