Navy Bean Festival Up For Indiana’s Best Fall Festival Award

(Rising Sun, Ind.) – The Rising Sun Navy Bean Fall Festival could celebrate its 30th anniversary as the king of fall festivals.
The Indiana Office of Tourism Development says Hoosiers can now cast their ballots for Indiana’s Best Fall Festival.
A total of 31 Hoosier fall festivals have been nominated for the award this year, including Rising Sun’s Navy Bean Festival. Individuals can vote for their favorite fall festival up to five times.
This year, Rising Sun’s Navy Bean Festival happens Friday, October 13 and Saturday, October 14.
The festival is best known for its top-notch Navy Bean Soup served along the Ohio riverfront on Front Street. The event also features top-named entertainers, rides, vendors, seaplane splash-in, a Saturday morning parade, and a 5K run and walk.
