(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – There is a new leader – at least temporarily – of three important agencies representing Dearborn County.

Mark Neff has been named interim president and chief operating officer of the Dearborn County Chamber of Commerce, Dearborn County Economic Development Initiative, and Dearborn County Convention Visitor and Tourism Bureau.

Neff was chosen as the interim president by the executive boards of all three organizations which operate out of the same office in Lawrenceburg. He begins the job Monday, July 8.

Neff is a retired US Bank employee. He has been serving as the Dearborn County coordinator of Economic Opportunities 2015 (EcO15) and Project Lead the Way.

“We are pleased that Mark has agreed to fill this valuable interim position, which includes not only day-to-day operations but assisting with the restructuring process and redefining the role of the permanent president/COO. Mark brings a lot of valuable experience to the table, as well as in-depth knowledge of Dearborn County and our regional area,” read a joint statement from Dearborn County Chamber Board of Directors President Kathy Patterson, DCEDI Board President Bill Ritzmann, and DCCVTB Board President Dave Lorey.

In April, former Dearborn County Chamber, EDI and Tourism president Mike Rozow left the organizations after 12 years for unknown reasons. At the time, Patterson said the organizations were undergoing a restructuring phase.
