(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – A new shopping option opens its doors in Lawrenceburg on Monday, February 22.

The new Dollar General at 290 W. Tate Street will open at 8:00 a.m. That’s according to a sign posted on the new store’s front door Sunday.

The new store’s opening marks the return of Dollar General as a convenient, walking-distance shopping option for downtown Lawrenceburg residents since the former store at the defunct Durbin Plaza was shut down nearly two years ago.

Construction began last October on the new Tate Street Dollar General developed by Curt Rafferty. The new structure is larger than the former Dollar General, offering more selection and variety.
