NKU To Host NCAA Selection Show Watch Party

(Highland Heights, Ky.) – The Northern Kentucky University men’s basketball team invites you to join them as they find out who their opponent will be in the upcoming NCAA Division I Tournament.

The 2017 Horizon League Men’s Basketball Champion Northern Kentucky Norse will host a watch party for the NCAA Selection Show on Sunday, March 12 in the Student Union Ballroom.

The CBS broadcast will begin at 5:30 p.m. Doors to the ballroom will open an hour beforehand.

The university anticipates CBS will feature the Norse basketball team during a live broadcast at NKU’s Student Union Ballroom.

The first-come, first-served event will be limited to approximately 500 seats. Standing room will also be limited. The event is free and open to the public.

NKU is just the seventh team in college basketball history to earn a berth into the NCAA Tournament in their first season of eligibility.

The Norse received an automatic bid to the tournament by defeating University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee 59-53 on Tuesday in the Horizon League Conference Tournament Championship.

NKU (24-10) will ride a six-game winning-streak into the NCAA Tournament.
