(Florence, Ky.) – A northern Kentucky woman is accused of leaving her one-year-old in a hot vehicle.
Florence Police responded to the Florence Mall parking lot off of Mall Road on Wednesday after reports that a one-year-old was left alone in a parked vehicle with the windows barely cracked and the engine off.
On Wednesday, temperatures were in the low to mid 80’s, but police say the temperature was around 105 degrees inside the parked SUV.
Christina Krups, 29, of Newport, was arrested and charged with Felony 1st degree Wanton Endangerment.
Police say Krups left her child alone in the vehicle for at least 10 to 15 minutes. The child was needed no medical assistance and was released to the father.
